Click Here to Close Help Window Introduction to the MySVC Student Toolbox Secure Online Services The MySVC Student Toolbox allows you, as a current SVC student, to access information including your current course schedule, your current transcript, class information, and more. Data posted in the Student Toolbox Secure Online Services is confidential information. In order to ensure that it remains confidential, you must use a Web browser enabled with high encryption (128-bit). If you do not currently have a browser that is capable of high encryption, you will not be able to access the information. NOTE: Apple Safari is not supported for use with the MySVC toolbox. There are links to the download pages for the appropriate browsers on the instructions page. If this is your first time using the STSOS, we recommend that you read the instructions so you are prepared with the necessary tools and information needed to navigate the system. NOTE: Quarterly Grades: To get your quarterly grades and GPA, use the unofficial transcript function.

SVC students can use the registration function to add or drop courses over the Internet. You must meet certain criteria to be able to use the system. Go to the Online Registration information page or call the registration office at 360-416-7700 for more information on the requirements. You will need to know the
following information to use registration: Your SID and PIN to login to the
system, your registration appointment for when you can start registering,
the item number(s) of the course(s) you wish to add, and any special entry
codes for permission only courses. The Registration Date/Time page will display your registration date/time for the desired quarter, if you have one. Your date/time is assigned by your earned/transferred/enrolled credits. See the quarterly schedule for more information. You will need to enter your SID, PIN, select the year and select the quarter for the appointment you want to view. See the quarter number section for information on it. You can pay your tuition and fees via the Student Toolbox with a credit card, Mastercard or Visa ONLY. You will need to enter your Student ID number (SID) and your Student PIN, and the system will determine your current account balance. You can now choose to pay your tuition quarterly, or all at once. Change the quarter selection from All Charges to the desired quarter for payment. If you have a balance due, you
will be prompted to enter your credit card number, expiration date, and
other biographical information. If during this process you encounter any
problems after you have entered your credit card information, DO NOT TRY
AGAIN!! Please call the cashier at 360-416-7805 before trying again to
prevent extra charges to your card. This function allows you to check your status of any waitlist(s) you are currently on, you will need to enter your SID, PIN, and choose a quarter. If you are still on the waitlist, it will show your current place, first on the waitlist is the next person who will be put in the class. If you are off the waitlist it will tell you if you have been registered in the class or if you were removed. You can remove yourself from any waitlists you are on via this function. Click the checkbox and press the remove button and you will be taken off the list. REMEMBER: When you are on a waitlist and an opening occurs, you will be automatically registered for the course. Check the wait list daily to avoid unwanted debt. It is your responsibility to monitor your movement on the wait list. You will be charged for all classes in which you are enrolled from the electronic wait list. The Schedule Planner gives you the ability to select the courses you want to take and the time you are available to take them, then the planner lists the open courses that fit in your schedule. Click the help button on the Schedule Planner page for instructions on how to use it. NOTE: The planner is only a tool to assist you in choosing which courses are available. Once you have chosen the courses, you must still register for them at the registration office or via web registration. The Class Information page will give you class information, including if the class if full or not. You will need to enter the Line Number, Year, and Quarter number of the course you would like to view. Click Here to view the information on the Quarter number. To find the line number for the desired course, Click Here to go to the SVC Online Quarterly Schedule. Find the course you want to view, the line number is the four digit number that is listed at the very bottom left of each class description. Open Class List All open classes will be listed on this page, except for non-credit classes, learning into action, cooperative education, and adult basic education classes. A class is considered open if there is at least one seat available and there is no waitlist for the class. Other restrictions such as instructor permission and prerequisites may apply. Closed Class List All closed classes will be listed on this page, except for non-credit classes. A class is considered closed if it's cancelled, full, or has a waitlist. The number of people on the waitlist is listed in the far right column.
All former and current students can use the View Your SID function to lookup your SVC assigned SID, if you do not know what is. To keep in compliance with state law, you can't use your Social Security Number and PIN to view your SID. You will need to enter your last name, your birthday, and the last 4 digits of your SSN to use this function. The information you enter will have to EXACTLY match SVC's records, or the system will not be able to find and display your SID. If you enter information that you believe is correct and are unable to view your SID, please call or email the registration office using the contact information at the top of the page. Change Your PIN The Change PIN function will allow you to change your PIN number from the assigned number to a number of your choice. You must know your Student Identification Number (SID) and current PIN number to be able to change it. We recommend that you change your PIN for security reasons. View Your Unofficial Transcript The Unofficial Transcript page will allow you to view an unofficial current transcript. You will need to enter your Student Identification Number (SID) and PIN to view the transcript. NOTE: To get your quarterly grades and GPA, use the unofficial transcript function. The Schedule page will list your courses for your current quarter, or for any quarter. You will need to enter your Student Identification Number(SID), PIN, the Year, and the Quarter number for the year and quarter you want to view your schedule.
View Your Placement Test Scores This function allows you to view your test scores from the placement tests that you take during the admissions process. You will enter your SID and PIN and the system will display all of your scores from either testing system that SVC uses (Asset or Compass), including duplicated scores if you took a test more than one time. It may take until the next business day or longer for your scores to be transferred from the testing system to your SVC record. If you need help determining how you are placed based on your scores, please contact an advisor. Click here to view the Asset (ASSETS) score placement chart Click here to view the Compass (COMPAS) score placement chart View Your Transferred-In Courses This function allows you to view all courses that you have transferred-in to SVC. You must submit your courses to the evaluator before they are officially transferred to your record at SVC. You will enter your SID and PIN and the system will display all of the courses that have been evaluated with the grade, credits, and evaluation code for each course. This data is updated daily, so you may have to wait for the next update for your records to be available in this function. View Hope Scholarship/Lifetime learning information This function will allow you to view the detail of your payments for the Hope Scholarship and Lifetime learning tax credit during the 2002 tax year. You will need to enter your SID and PIN to receive the information. For more information see the Hope Scholarship/Lifetime learning information page. Run A Degree Audit/Progress Tracker WARNING: The degree audit
works best for students who only have SVC credits. Transferred in credits
may not be properly evaluated by the program. This is not an official audit,
it is for advising purposes only.
Viewing the audit The audit will display on one web page, but it will have breaks where the page would end on a printed copy. The audit starts on the left side, and goes to the bottom of the page, then continues on the top right of the page, and down. The audit continues on the second page starting on the left side again. Each section is lettered with A, B, C, etc.
If you are a part-time employee at SVC, you can enter your hours electronically using this system. Not all departments are using this system yet, so contact your supervisor before you attempt to enter any hours. Payroll will have the latest version of the instructions on how to use the system. Update Your Address/Phone/Email The update page will allow you to view and change your physical address, email address, and phone numbers for SVC records. You will need to enter your SID and PIN to use this function. It will then display your information, and give you the option to change it if your information is not current.
